Why I Started Another Music Project

A new beginning...

Those familiar with me prior to my move to the US know that I have been involved in music all my life. When I moved to a new country, I decided to stay away from the music scene, something I had mastered throughout most of my adult life.

From being a musician in the 90s and independently releasing three albums, to managing artists and helping bands secure deals with both independent and major labels, my career has been wildly diverse. I've run an agency organizing international tours, managed music merchandising, record labels, and distribution. Additionally, I founded and managed a digital music aggregator in partnership with global DSPs, established a music tourism agency, and a music think-tank that collaborates with both public and private sectors; I’ve truly done it all!

These activities have allowed me to become friends with musicians, music industry experts, cultural leaders, and government officials around the world, from Australasia, Southeast Asia, East and South Asia, Western and Eastern Europe, to North America.

In the past few weeks, I’ve been thinking about getting back into music by starting a new project. This is something I have consistently done in the past but haven't engaged in for the past six years. This time, it will be a part-time project. I will take it one step at a time, with no rush, but moving forward nonetheless. I’ve decided to start a podcast featuring my friends and colleagues in the music industry. We’ll discuss life in music, how-to's, tips, crazy party stories, industry secrets, gossip, and how to have a good time.

That's all I can share at this point, but I will be posting the first content very soon.

So, see you in a bit!
